Just realised only after switching juices that my sheseido cotton has a really strong taste to it! damn it, looks like i'm going to have to try koh gen do or some other alternative.

thats what the forums said initially there will be taste in shiseido cotton, maybe you can try the muji cotton or puffs organic cotton from amazon (have yet try any of this 3). Alternatively you can also order koh gen do from local distributor/go to taka(tried and tested not bad minimal cotton taste for first few draws). Last but not least do not buy bodyshop organic cotton

Tried muji cotton... works totally fine... looks exactly like the one given with subox mini... was 2 dollar plus
