I'd say i probably cough more from constant 510 usage (both 801 batts broke withint 2 weeks of receiving them) than I did from cigs. Not sooo many heavy dry coughs, more of the throat clearing guys. Should I expect this with my prodigy as well?

What juice are you using? May be time for some reduced Propylene Glycol, or Vegetable Glycerin based juice. I developed a really bad reaction over the first couple months, can't tolerate PG at all. Now just one cart is like breathing fire!

I don't like the PG stuff either. And I never liked Nicotine. Both make my throat raw. When I was puffin analogues, I was buying Carlton. Everyone made fun of me and any one that bummed a smoke ripped off the whole filter to smoke it. For me, it was never about being addicted to nicotine. It's about the throat hit and having sort of a pacifier in my hand or mouth all the time.

It took me about 6 months to analyze my smoking addiction, but once I got it figured out, it was a breeze to toss fire sticks and go digital.

I'm using Ruyan's juices which I assume are straight PG. I was about to buy some VG but read somewhere that many people have had unpleasant experiences with VG on the Prod, so I figured I'd wait for a bit and check it all out. I'd love to hear the pros and cons of VG in the prod...maybe my next purchase (along with a bunch of attys )

I've been running ECOpure (VG based) through the Prodigy with no problems at all. It's smoother than through a 510 running stock batteries. I haven't seen any issues with it failing to wick when using a cart or gumming up the atomizer. I've been using a single 510 atomizer on it for about 6 days now. It's hitting just as well as it did on the first day, and I've been hammering it with the kind of heavy usage you'd expect from someone playing with a new toy.

Did you try different flavors from Ruyan and all cause caugh or is it just one flavor? You may also try liquid with less nicotine content.

The 510 atty is my favorite, but I think it also makes juice taste a bit harsh, so you may also try shorter draw.
