Coughing Like Crazy

Hello all :) Happy to be among you all learning the ropes. I just got my first PV a few days ago. I have been vaping on a few different flavored e juice, all are PG based. I can't inhale any of them without hacking a lung out. I have smoke analogs for 29 years (pack/day) but cant seem to handle this stuff. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello and congrats. Part of the fun of vaporizing is finding what works for you. Try some vegetable glycerine juices or blends of it with propylene glycol mix. Been at this for a couple months ans when I first switched over from cigarettes I coughed for a couple days. The humidity seems to help break up gunk in your respiratory track. Best of luck!

I am using an eGo C with Juicy clearomizer. I have no idea what the ohms are on the atomizer and I think I saw someone mention 3.7v?? on the eGo battery? I am waiting for my 2 eGo twist 1000mah batteries. I am also intrigued with vivi tanks. But I want to make sure I can control this cough before I invest further.

Greetings Ray, just be aware that 100% VG base juice is very thick and 100 PG base juice is very thin. So if full PG is giving you problems just buy a little that's mixed such as 80PG/20VG, 70/30, or even 50/50 to try. The type atty you're using can also determine just how thick you can go on your juice in order to wick properly. Otherwise, you will get a burnt taste quite often. Personally I use 70PG/30VG on all juices. Good luck!
