I had the same problem last week when I got back into vaping...after a few days, I'd gotten used to it. Around the time I got back into it, I was visiting a friend and offered him my ecig to try. He coughed and spluttered and really struggled but it occurred to me that this was no different to how either of us had been when we first started smoking. Perhaps its just a case of getting used to it, like you did with the analogues?x

Do a mix. I see a lot of 50/50 out there. I personaly make about 70/30 pg/vg ratio when I make juices. The OTEHR thing, draw into your mouth THEN inhale. That will give you a better idea on how big a draw you should be pulling. MOST smokers draw straight into the lung. NOT a good idea when you begin vapeing. Check out the link for vaping correctly. Good luck and welcome to our wacky world!

I'm relatively new to e-cigs but I hear you. I can't do straight PG, I tried for over a week and it just dried out my throat really bad and had cotton mouth all day long. Was only vaping it 10-15 times a day like a regular cig. These were three different brands too! So it's certainly all PG that gets me.

I got some Johnson Creek Red Oak Tennessee Cured (all VG) and took away that problem. The flavor is good, but a little too sweet for me and gonna try some other stuff out them and other online shops.

Just trying to find the right flavor and perhaps a 50/50 blend may work out too. I dunno myself however, I am gonna a bunch of VG/PG variations and straight VG.

Good luck man!

I doubt its 100% VG. However I just double checked the web site, eVapor Canada Canada and can't fing the ratio they use.

Since you're a fellow canuck, try jugheads - you can specify your own ratio. Try a few ranges either side of 50/50 and see which ones suit you. Actually shoot then an email, they are very helpful and might give some advice.

beyI honestly can't even remember inhaling straight to the lungs. I've only been vaping since march but it's second nature now to pull a plume to mouth and then inhale. It's been said already but that will prob help. 50/50 is a great starting point. Then you can decide what you're missing. Not sure what you smoked but I was a pack & 1/2 a day American Spirit. They supposedly have more nic than most and when I switched to vape I thought I would have no prob handling 24mil nic. WELL that was a mistake! I didn't transition badly with cough but I also started with the cigalikes. My problem was heartburn :?: 18 mil works ok as long as I dont obsessively chain vape. PG can be more of an irritant for some. If it persists beyond PG then you may try shopping around for different atomizers too. Some are made with less pure materials (don't know about the juicies) could even be a wick problem. Lots of different factors to consider but stick with it...smoke is no joke!
