It could be many reasons, but it is hard to say for sure that your lungs have adjusted/ or healed/ or cleared themselves of residual tar etc. It could be many reasons, but we need some sort of details. Are you building your own coils, are you sure your coils are clean, is your wick dirty or burning. Vapor does make most first time users cough as they usually take to large of lung hits. Are you mouthing your vape? MOst say its easier to take the vapor into your mouth and slowly inhale till one gets accustomed to it. Vapor is also much more humid and dense/ but also dries out your mucous membranes and lining of your sinuses and throat etc.

Make sure you drink lots of water, make sure your equipment such as wicks and fillers are clean and not burning. Since we have no idea if you are using clearos, cartos, RBA, RDA or what resistance, its hard to say.

I got into ecigs a few months ago and I've really enjoyed it. But, I never cough when smoking, but i always cough when I Vape. Its been over 4 months, so my lungs have adjusted, and I've tried full VG and part PG/VG with no real difference. Does this happen to anyone else??

GP

I use high VG; too high vg tends to make me cough.
too much nic also gets me to cough.

hydration might be a factor also

Can you tell us about your setup a little and watts you vape at, also do you lung inhale or mouth to lung? Do you keep your hydrated? It happens to me with too much heat and a high PG ratio, and especially late at night.

I've noticed that pattern too; I cough more late at night;
but it might be partly due to laying half upright on my bed watching tv; still trying to figure it out.
