Sounds disgusting but it really is a good thing! For me I've found that every single morning I wake up the first thing I do is clear my throat and up comes just a little something (don't know what it is) but it's always the same, every single day. Maybe like yourself, it's my lungs doing the same thing getting rid of the little gremlins in my chest.

As a 20+ year smoker, I am looking forward to noticeable improvements in lung function, etc. I haven't had 'smoker's cough' or regular morning hacks except after nights of extreme smoking (at clubs, etc), but if nothing else know I will have greater endurance once my lungs start healing from the abuse!

So far, my biggest noticeable symptom is decreased taste (so far, few of the flavors taste like very much but I get the 'idea'), and so I cannot wait for my taste buds to recover and begin to truly enjoy the variety of flavors we have to choose from!

I was coughing up stuff during weeks 3 and 4, now I'm not congested in the morning any more. Tightness in the chest gone and no more nic stains in my stache or upper lips any more. Only thing I am still concerned about is possible increase in tooth decay from the juice, I have terrible teeth grinding when I sleep so I don't know if there is any relation, just no my teeth are getting progressively worse...
