Could it really be this easy? (mixing my own liquids)

Didn't fancy posting this on the general forums as those Yanks scare me lol

I noticed a link to inawera in Poland the other day. They sell either a pg or vg base with nic already added for £4.42 for 100ml as well as flavours for no more than £2.10 per 10ml.

Now then, I've never even thought about mixing my own juice before but at those prices, it's a no brainer .. I think.

Is it really that easy?

Has anybody else dealt with inawera here?

Don't be scared of American folk - I know quite a lot and they're mostly very nice people! They don't mince their words: they say it how it is usually, but you know where you are with them, and they're still really nice.
I've had lots of genuine help and warmth from my friends and colleagues in the US.

Anyway, that nicotine base is available from LT e cigs - they have Inawera and other flavourings too.

I think that you need to have a decent grasp of flavour compatibility, additives (sweetener etc.) and quantities ..plus patience:)

I got some concentrates from Chefs Vapours that have the mixing done already, and they also give indication of quantities to start at for both concentrates and flavourings.

I have some base plus some concentrates but haven't actually made anything yet! I think it's likely a good way to start with though.

The general forum for DIY e-liquid will likely have plenty of recipes, and help though when you want to try mixing flavours yourself!

I vape Inawera all the time, more or less.

It depends what you want to make. Some liquids are as simple as base + flavour. some are definitely not

I got Inawera (Tino d'Milano) RY4 this morning and Flavourart RY4 Nutzilla (flavours, not vape liquids). My 100ml VPG base was £3.60, so it's going to be under 60p per 10ml bottle.

At that price, even shipped from Poland, it's a hell of a lot less than the premixed stuff I'm on now.

I want the VG+distilled water+nic all in one as it's just hassle free. Don't think I'll be needing sweeteners as I like strong fruity flavours like cherry and strawberry. I've not got the vapours tongue as yet so I find a lot of those "fancy" liquids a bit sickly (especially creamy types).

At 60p a bottle, I'm going for it :)

You should! :)

I get bored of all the various bottles and calculators. I Shove 9.5ml of premixed in a bottle with 3/4ml of flavouring. Takes 20 seconds.

It's just the waiting for it to steep that is SO boring. (I'm leaving my Tino RY4 for 2 weeks... )

Is that 9.5 + 3/4ml concentrated flavouring rather than a mixed concentrate that's usually 15-20%? I don't like the thought of precise measuring either!
I was thinking of 8.5ml of base with 1.5ml concentrate.

I've got the TM RY4 and mixed some up about 3 weeks ago. It's still the same transparent colour it was when I made it. I don't really think it needs steeping. Tastes the same now as it did straight after mixing (excellent). My 2 pennorth.

yes, it's not exactly precise...but there's very little point with this system (using premixed VG+PG nicotine base) as people seem to mix Inawera between about 5% and 10%. I probably wouldn't put 1.5ml of Inawera concentrate in with 8.5ml of base myself, as it's very strong stuff. I used 25% concentrate once (Totally Wicked) and not only could I not taste much, it bought me out in a rash.

Ideally, I'd keep the flavour as low as possible.

I have ordered from LT and didn't realise they did DIY. Does the VG nic base need diluting or is it good to go?

I buy the stuff called VPG, in a set strength. It's good to go.

If they "do" 100% VG base in your strength, then yes... it's good to go... (unless you want to add some distilled water or something?)

It's not 100% VG but Sharon at LT told me that flavourings are PG based. I have an intolerance for PG in that I get a bad cough and spots around my lips. A 70VG/30PG is fine by me but a 50/50 ratio isn't. I'm just weird lol

I've been looking all day at DIY juice @Pictor and I think I'll be going with LT as Sharon is always available via email to answer any questions. I'll most likely be going for the higher nic content as my wife is slowly weaning off analogues and needs a higher kick than I do.

Some fantastic advice on here and all very much appreciated.
