I have gone through five wicks. They fall apart when being rinsed clean, or fall apart when I adjust them. Can anyone do a video on how to make them or make them for me for a nominal cost?

I am not good at trying to put things together or make things so I could use some help. It is expensive to buy a new atty because the wick broke. I am now down to one wick and three atomizers.

So far I like the T. The only thing I can't stand is the wicks falling apart and the inability to buy more without buying a new atty.

Rebuilding an eGo atomizer is not all that it's cracked up to be.
I'm sure CJ's thread is great but it is a very small thing you are working with. If you breath in the wrong direction your wick will fly away never to be seen again.

These atomizers last me at most 2 weeks before requiring cleaning because I eventually vape till it's dry and then it tastes burnt and doesnt' wick properly till cleaned.

The large capacity and easy refill is great but cleaning is a big issue with these.

I've also been looking for a replacement wick or a new version with a better design.

For something different than a eGo tank but not too expensive, check my thread here Maximizer type... did I miss anything? there's a # of links to stuff you might like to try.

On the bright side, the Tank is 10x better than what was out there a year ago :)

I posted a step by step for making your own wicks here on ECF new members forum, hope it helps.

► EGO-T how to make new wicks that work great...cheaply

I looked over your directions. I am a visual and hands on learner. Reading directions is difficult for me. Also I am mechanically declined (challenged). I tried thinking about how much I would pay for a wick and it turns out that it isn't much because I am student and single mom so it would be around a buck or two per wick.

I forgot to say that I checked that out, sorry about that.
It's a really long thread, but there's lots of good information in the other posts, too.

For example, if you don't want to make a new wick from silica rope, there's the suggestion that you can recycle the wicks from your old CE2 clearos.

I'm going to try that, using a CE2 that leaked all over on its first use (yuck). So I'll tear apart the clearo to get a supply of wick.
