Could use a little help with wiring

I hope this thread is in the correct section. If not I apologize, I read every section description and figured his was my best bet.

Basically I want to know if I use a thicker or different type of wire from my center pin to my spring (hot spring. Not sure what it's made of) will I get a better connection/vape? Or does it even matter as long as the connection is solid?

I've re-wired my Kamry k1000 epipe due to a short. It's working fine but I used a pretty thin wire I salvaged out of some old ... electronics lol like I said it's working fine.. For all I know.. But if a better/thicker wire will definitely improve things I'd like to know lol

I dont imagine your going sub ohm with that, or not to horribly low? 20g would be more than enough and you probably could use 22 or 24 if your only using clearo's.

I like to use 14 gauge wire for mechs that way it doesn't matter what I throw at it. The wires in my evic are think also and i can tell it affects performance.
