Could use some quick help

My Better half has a ipv D3 80 Watt . She went to vape said it read short on the screen and that was it. I did a battery swap now all it displays is SX150H V6.1 when you put the battery in.

I can't seem to find any info on the web about it .

sounds like there is a short somewhere.

take the tank off.

look at the centerpin. maybe it was overtightened and mangled the centerpin insulator.

Huh! You are the second poster today with this problem. I don't have that mod, or any idea what happened, but I can tell you the display is showing the chip number (SX150) and the firmware version (6.1). It is supposed to do that when ever it powers on. But it's also supposed to go past it and boot the electronics for use. It appears to be hanging somewhere in the boot process. Try getting the firmware upgrade app, port in the mod, and see if you can update or reload the firmware is all I can suggest.

Well no luck it's not even listed on the website. The tank works fine on my Istick 60w . No clue

Cr@p! It doesn't have a mini-USB port? I dunno, guy. I think it may have bricked. Pull the batteries and leave it overnight, let all the capacitors discharge. Then repower.

Nor I, unfortunately. Sounds like the firmware is scrambled, or the chip is damaged. That SX150 chip is made by Yihi Ecigar. I haven't a link handy, I'm on my tab, but you might find something on their website. If it doesn't have a port, you'd probably have to disassemble it to redo the firmware.

It has seemed to fix it's self lol. She uses a Kanger Protank 3 on it. She doesn't like it really and we go pick up a new tank for her tomorrow lol Gonna move her into a sub ohm tank. I swapped the coils a week ago and didn't like the looks of it when I put it in but did it anyway. I put a different coil in and all seems to be working okay again for now.
