It would have been very difficult. My first e-cig was a Pure Smoke (not PureSmoker) that I purchased at a smoke shop and it was terrible compared to my Joye 510! I don't think I could have quit analogs with that one. I liked the idea and at least it got me researching other possibilities, so I'm grateful for that!

Well, with the advise/recommendation of a good friend in NC he introduced me to my first PV which was a KR808D-1 from SmokeTip.com. I paid $59.00 for the kit and I quit instantly the moment I took my first vape.

However another friend mentioned these forums here at ECF and I am so very thankful that he did! Without all the knowledge that I gained here at ECF there is no way I would have been anywhere near as successful as I have been for so long. Without ECF I probably would have continued to pay a higher price for my cartos to keep my KR8 going and I would honestly have to say that quiting smoking for good may not have happened.

Now I'm mixing my own juice, got a 510 with my own homemade NicoStick, got a good cart mod going and I am in vaping heaven every single day without a single desire or even a thought about an analog going on almost 2-1/2 months now.

Oh yeah, there's no doubt that ECF has meant the world to me!

This site was helpful for the initial step of finding the right e-cig (V4L), and is still helpful for maintenance issues, and to stay updated on the newest flavors, hardware, etc.

For the willpower in order to stay off the death sticks however... Thats all me

That being said, I still owe a great deal to the ECF!!!

This forum has been my life-line to the e-cig world...without it, there's a huge possibility that I never would have bought my first e-cig, thereby never knowing how easily I could quit the analogs. I come here every day, and I learn new things every day. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to the veteran posters who take time to help newbies like me figure everything out.

I smoked regular cigarettes for over 40 years and never thought I could quit. I heard about e-cigs somewhere and thought this might me interesting. Then I found this site and after reading for about 1 week, which helped me find all the hardware and juice I needed from the most reputable and reasonable sellers and I have completely stopped smoking now for over a week and I am exclusively vaping. I am really enjoying reading all the different forums and because I am a gadget junkie, I am having the time of my life with the hardware and juices.

I now don't even want a cigarette anymore, just more favorable juice.
