I'm liking this Pico much more than the Goblin. Top fill, quieter, no wobbly DT, and I can be lazy and use CLR coils.

Well the Red one finally made it here! I feel like I should be concerned with these charging glitches?

I wonder How Many have Actually Experienced a problem when charging their Mini Volt?

I've had my first Mini Volt going on 3 weeks second going on 2 weeks and the Red one today with no Charging problems so far!? Hopefully we'll keep it that way!

They get charged at least once a day!

And this for the future:

Note to self -- don't plug in to charge until the screen is off.

Or simply just turn off the device before hand :) when you plug it in to charge, it turns itself back on anyways ;) - which I may not be an expert, but feel is that part of coding is what reacts and may be part of the charging glitch.

I've had it happen only once, then looked In to it about others having "wierd issues"
Came up with the theory that it had to do with plugging it in as the screen turned off and decided to test it. Was able to recreate the glitch 3 times, so I could accurately assess the issue. Since then I knew the cause and learned to just avoid it. - nucense for sure, but nothing hugely wrong to warrant the though of never buying the mod.

Finaly came across something wierd, I haven't seen posted elsewhere.

Testing a new build and "testing" the mini volt, the built at .25 resistance I fired it at 26w to check for hotspots ect. While firing, the mod was getting warm (no bueno) and I noticed the battery gauge fluttering extremely fast between "1 bar" to full and eventually cut out to say low battery.

I stand behind the manufacture when they "recommend .8 resistance or higher" being used with this mod.

Just got mine today. The power bar was at about the half-way point and, using the included cable, it took about an hour to get it fully charged. Compared to an iStick 30W, it seemed slow but I liked that it didn't get hot while charging (just slightly warm).

It seems to me if you use anything other than an RDA (referring to clearos) the battery life is shortened noticeably.

If I remember correctly C.O.V. does offer a clearomizer for the mod....anyway, anyone else notice this using various tanks?

It does okay with an atomizer. (I like dripping and I don't rebuild.) I still think it's shorter than its rating but it's acceptable.

By the way, in the post you quoted I underestimated the length of time it took to recharge. It must have been fuller than I realized when I got it. The charging time isn't terrible but it is a few hours.

And, if all this sounds like I don't like the Mini Volt, I am planning to buy a black one to go with the red one. For me these are quibbles. It is comfortable to hold, it delivers a strong, consistent vape and, considering how inexpensive it is, I think it it is very well made. Those are the important things.

You need to build for the capacity of the device. I'm using a resistance of .8 - 1.0 and I am getting a full day and a bit more out of both of mine. They vape real nice with a build somewhere in that range.

Thanks for the advice guys. I was telling the wife we should drip and not clear. I have only had one rda (2nd hand p.o.s.) that is busted now. Any advice on what atomizer I should get.

Never been a dripper really. Like I said only had one so not very experienced with much more than clero tanks...

Thanks in advance for your input!
