Couple more noob questions. I'm almost done with these I hope.

Ok, I prefer the ego mega atty's and carts, and my SO prefers the standard 510 atty's and carts. My question is regarding a cart mod that will work for both. I've been eyeballing the Blue Foam mod, would that work with both types of carts? Other than BFM, what would you guys suggest for one mod that will work equally or close to it with both types of carts?

My other question is, what is the best way to clean carts? I've found a good way to clean my atty's, but not positive about what the best thing to clean carts and the polyfill in them is.

Can't answer any of those questions except the last - get the tea bags and dump the polyfill

I've had good luck with this CART mod (took me a min to figure out why you wanted a 'cat' mod) I use 510 attys/carts, but it's been used on both: Highping's 'My Simple Cart Mod' if that doesn't sound right for you, look around the cart mod forum, there's lots out there...

Thanks for pointing out the cat thing, fixed it. I was actually just reading the thread you linked to, refreshed this thread and you mentioned it as well. So I think I may give that a go before going out and getting some blue foam.

I use the blue foam on the 510 and ego carts, works great for me. The ego cart just uses double the foam to fill the opening in the cart and works for me without leaking. I like the 510 xl cart/atty on both regular and ego batteries, it holds a lot more juice than the regular setup. Also using the ce2 carto's, very nice on either of the 510 devices.

I'm kind of leaning towards Mega cartomizers, too. The only thing I don't like about them is piercing the fill port for the first time! I have a difficult time with that.

I thought I liked the eGo Mega cartomizers at first, even though you have to fill them with a needle. But after vaping them for about three weeks (now and then), the flavor is not nearly as good as the 510 cartos, and I kind of doubt I'll use them much anymore. And, last night, I discovered that the KR808D-1 cartos produce much better flavor, vapor, and throat hits (using a KR808D-1 passthrough that I received yesterday). I haven't tried the regular KR808D-1 battery yet, but I'm planning on buying an adapter for a 510 battery to 808 cartomizer, so I can use the 808 cartos with my 510 batteries.

Just when I think I'm all set with everything, I keep finding better stuff!

yes a 510 to 901/808 adapter would work... I'd duggest one of the 3 piece ones like madvapes carries ( 510 to 901/808-D Adapter ) because the airflow on those is adjustable (the slot on the 901 end is a screw slot) couple turns counterclockwise opens up and increases airflow and clockwise tightens it up
