i got a 510 yesterday Joye 510 Special Edition Starter Kit (if anyone can translate the writing on it would be thankful as well :) ) and am very happy with it compared to what i started with a month ago XHale 02 from 7-11.

as i dont want to overfill, how much is the average amount of drops you guys put in a joye 510 when the vapor starts slowing up and needs refilling? i got 30ml bottles of usa premium tobacco from ecigexpress with drops the size of about visine etc.

also, how long does the average 510 atomizer last for moderate chain vaping? ive read 2weeks...6weeks... just curious what the consumers have to say as am thinking about buying a 5pack very shortly if the 2 i have will only last a month.

thanks, this forum is great, been reading for a month and gotta say even if i was pulled into vaping by having some extra money and my 7-eleven across the street started selling them, i havent smoked a normal cig since day 1. (even gave away the pack of real cigs i bought with the xhale starter kit)
after almost a 20 year habbit, very shocking

Haven't used carts in a couple of months, but 5-ish. Maybe a couple more. Depends a lot on the filler you have. Drip until it just begins to pool or look wet on top of the filler. You will quickly get tired of topping off, and start trying to add as much as you can get away with without flooding your atty. After blowing out a few flooded attys, and wiping up drips, you'll get a feel for it.

between here and there
Did you buy direct from China? Depending on your smoking habits, re-charging every couple of hours will eventually become a pita.....for around the same amt of $ you could buy a bigger battery set that will last around 8 hours between charges....Liberty-flights.com has a site here in the us(CA) and offers great deals.....
here is a link for them....don't forget to click the 20% discount link at top left of their home page.....
I am just a user like you but have used this company and they have great products with warrenties and good customer service....
have a look.

Sorry, I can't help you with the writing. Drop them an email and ask. They look classy no matter how you cut it!

Cartridges, if dry, take .5mls to fill them or about 10 drops. To clean them, remove the filler, run under hot water, squeeze in a paper towel, reinsert, and fill. I also suggest "fluffing" the filler material once a day. It seems to get packed which leads to less and less wicking action. Other suggestion is to mod them with Marineland Type U (blue foam) or Fluval that can be purchased from most pet stores (PetsMart). Both of these are aquarium filters. Just clean them prior to using.

How long do atomizers last? There isn't a good answer for this one. Just drain it every night and clean it once a week or more if needed in alcohol or in an ultra sonic jewelry cleaner. A little maintenance will help with the longevity of them.

no its just a normal 510 from ecigexpress that seems to has some writing on the battery , was advertised as ''special design'' and was a bit cheaper so ran for that.. just curious what it says :)

thx for the advice.

It says "This end up". LOL, J/K.

You should be able to get 6 to 8 drops in the carto when refilling. The first fill will require a few more, maybe 10-12.

Attys can last days to months. Depends on your vaping habits, types of juice, cleaning or not cleaning method. The white filler will probably go bad before the atty does.

I also recommend the blue foam, Marineland Rite size "U". Costs about $7.00, but one package is virtually a life time supply. The blue foam wicks better and doesn't burn as easily as the original white filler.

For the atty+cart, I recommend blue foam as replacement stuff when the white stuffing gets yucky. Buy precut blue foam for 510 at strictlyejuice.com (the tapered end goes into the cart). On a full fill with foam, you pull the foam, fill the juice cup 1/2 way (2/3 if you are daring and more willing to risk the juice dumping out), inside the tapered end of the foam, press the foam into the liquid to wet it (a smooth unbent paper clip is good for moving foam), reposition the foam at the top edge of the cup, then top off with 1-3 drops of whatever it need to look damp and not a puddle. Then as you vape, top it off when needed. When topping off does not help, then you do another full fill. the blue foam is very easy to rinse under running water and pat totally dry with paper towel. The plastic part of the cart can be rinsed out, shook out, then dried with a Qtip.

Since you smartly got manual batteries, you can also try a 510 drip tip instead of the cart. Handy for testing juices

After you get tired of atty+cart and cleaning attys try Boge standard resistance cartomizers on it which most people prefer to atty + cart. You cannot use the hotter Boge LR cartos (2.0 ohm) on slim batteries. NiteLiteVapor has standard resistance Boge cartos in the normal black as well as white and tan.

No idea what the symbol is - I think it is either just a design or very stylized. Take it to a Chinese restaurant and ask? Could it possibly be a stylized JT or JE (for Joyetech)
