On the website the green model is a nice deep emerald green, pics I have seen of it in customer's hands is a dull green. So, if I order one which do I get?Do the colors vary run to run?

The button on the website looks like a nice black button but in customer pics it's a chinzy looking brown color.Does the button vary from run to run?

As far as I know all the greens are the same. So far there has only been one run of Buzz tubes. The differences you're seeing are probably related to different cameras and different backgrounds.

Mike started out with the heavier black switches and then started using a lighter orange switch.

The green with the black background isn't quite accurate, and that's my fault! I've added the picture of the green sitting on a table to give a better view of the color. Sorry about that!

Yo be clear there is a slight design difference between some units . The flat where the button is has 2 different depths ( an error on mine and my machinists part ) the deeper the uses the orange rubber button , the shallower one uses the black button.
The rubber button was the original design for the Buzz , It went through the Beta testing.

some seem to like the black and some the orange rubber one ? until I have gone through this first batch they will be mixed , once through this batch they will be Orange rubber .

It is purely mechanical , the orange button is not quit long enough to be 100% on the shallow flat units and can cause some misfires .

Today I received my wife's Buzz with the orange button and I like it better than the black. Not because of the color but I like the deeper flat better. My finger feels more comfortable on it.

Hers also has the O-Ring seal and I discovered you have to take it off to get the voltage adapter to work. Just thought I'd pass that along in case anyone with the O-Ring can't figure out why they're not getting a reading. :)

The new run will be like the new one you got , we Beta tested the rubber switch ( the switches are from the same MFG and have similar specs ) so that is what I want to go with in the future.

Nice catch on the O-ring !!!

Unfortunately the rubber switch is about .020" too short for the older buzz ! this was mt fault we increaded the OD of the tube to 22mm and I forgot to increase the flat by .5mm deeper and this made all the difference .

So it will not work properly or it is hit and miss so !

Why did you increase the OD of the tube?
