Just had the next door neighbor little girl knock on my door and handed me an invite outside tonight for a lil fireworks party! So cute!

I am planning on bring mom and pop up here to my house for the day. They only live about 5 miles away but with still trying to get them settled in their new home and everything, just haven't brought them up here very often. To both of them, my hubby can do no wrong and he wasn't here the last time I had them up here so will be a great day for them

Always spend the 4th with family and have a nice dinner. Part of our family is from the Philippines, so we make a ton of food and its a cool mix between "American" food and Filipino food. Burgers, twice baked potato casserole, lumpia, fried rice, etc.
Having a multicultural family is awesome. We do shoot off some fireworks, mostly for my nephew and niece who are 12 and 3, but we all enjoy them.
My plans for the 4th? With friends: eating, drinking, eating some more, maybe watch some fireworks... and then have some dessert.
Not really sure what to post in here, so I will just say Happy Birthday to anyone who has their birthday around this time, I am sure that if you are American then you probably get slightly irked by July 4th stealing your thunder, so, once again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I'm looking forward to a long weekend! I feel for those who have to work during holidays. I did for many many years. Looking forward to grilling out with friends. And I'm going to have to buy a lighter to light the grill and the fireworks. ;-)
I actually still have a bunch of lighters. I keep one in my purse and one on my desk, but I use them for candles and stuff.
I still keep a lighter in my vape drawer (right next to the vv3s and ego batts).
Going to a lodge on a lake out in the woods of Maine for three days. It's been sunny and in the 90's all this week, but supposed to turn cloudy and in the high 60's and low 70's for those three days. I hope it is warm enough to go swimming anyway. The ocean has finally warmed up to 59 degrees, and the wind is pretty cold here on the island, so I really want to swim in the lake.
They have everyone bring fireworks, and shoot them off over the lake. It's nice and relaxing, no TV, no electricity, just log cabins and canoes and kayaks and things.

I've been gone awhile and it's been years since I checked your site but...you got some neat stuff there and I wanna get in on this.
Happy 4th! I'll get some pulled pork in the pot before work, and let that go all dang day, try to keep the worlds sweetest pitbull from shaking herself to death under the table from the fireworks. It's adorable, if concerning, ace don't work for her fear, maybe slow cooked pork will...

Still trying to decide what I'm going to do for the 4th ... have a few options to consider, going to have to make a decision soon. In any event, I'll definitely be vaping but what flavor(s) is still up in the air ... decisions, decisions!
