So I really want to experiment with a rebuildable atty and the 25$ ish COV gen 1 from clouds of vapor seems like a great deal but I worried about the plated metal used or whatever it is flaking off into my liquid as I vape ... So i'm wondering if there's nothing to worry about as far as the finish or if there is a similarly priced rebuildable made with SS, and it has to be a genisis style with SS mesh wicking. If anyone can help, I will be one happy guy!
Thank you!

I am also new to vaping and only 3 +months into it. But already spend lot of hard earned cash cos I know that I won't look back. My first rebuildable atty is the "DID" .......it cost some money at first but it's a quality made and it's not gonna get throw away bcos of chrome flaking off!! That's how I save money.

Unfortunately the only RBA's in the same price range are not all stainless steel. A quality RBA is an investment and will pay for itself in time by no longer having to purchase disposable attys or cartos. Should you find they are not for you,the higher build quality models tend to suffer from little to no depreciation so getting your investment back should be fairly easy.

I haven't had the pleasure of a Zenesis though I have lusted for one since he introduced them. If your leaning toward a hybrid (thats the genesis atty and battery unit in one like the Zenesis...sorry if you already knew that), I don't think there is a better engineered design .

Now that you have your obligatory 5 posts , I'd suggest you spend a good bit of time in the APV forum picking the brains of those with more experience in hybrids. Also may want to consider getting verified to allow you access to the classifieds. When you get a chance to view the "classies", you will see that I meant it when I stated how even though the higher end units are pricey, they do retain value.Good luck in your quest to find you personal vaping nirvana.

Good to know, in that case Im leaning towards zenises mini what your takes on that model, seems I might as well go all the way if I'm gonna go at all. The clearo's and even the vivi nova is starting to ware on me a bit.

This is going to sound all fanboy-ish but they are worth the money, the regular mini, MFA (Matte-Finished Aluminum),and cOBalt are being produced at a larger rate now.......:thumb:
