What's the big fuzz about the ZAP? It's great looking but is leaking like hell when put on it's side...

all genesis style atomizers leak when placed on their side....just a fact of life.

the flavor is amazing however, and while i don't carry them to work, they make an excellent vanity vape when you are sitting at home relaxing and watching TV or reading ECF....and the way i see it, if i don't like the ZAP, i can easily sell it for its cost on the classifieds.

Ill put up with any flaws if it works like ZEN and PBusardo says it does.

people cant describe it but they say you really taste the juice better and can feel the nic differently then other devices.

would like to try an AC9 but there also continually sold out.

PBusardo also says he uses it at home only, not for all day vaping.
I find the DID to be much more useful (and affordable), yet it's just my personal opinion. :)

:) thats why I got a cobra heh........... the problem with using the zap is its well known the top cap isnt very tight and can pop off like in your pocket or something.

over here the real DID is only $12 less anyways

I have both the Cov Gen 1 and Aga-T. The Gen 1 is smaller/lighter, made out of polished brass as I have heard. The Aga-T is stainless steel and will be heavier. The Gen 1 can be a bit harder to work with since it is smaller so wrapping coil can be tighter. The Gen 1 comes with a metal tank but you can get plastic or glass clear tanks. The AGA-T comes with a plastic clear tank and you can get glass ones as well. With glass you can use whatever juice you want without affecting plastic ones.

I'm a tinkerer by nature so that is the main reason I've decided to look into one. Still doubt it will provide that much of a difference over say ... a re-built Nova using mesh (only real difference at that point is a vertical wick vs horizontal and the inability to adjust airflow on the Nova).

The fact that they pretty much have to be laid vertically or else they leak is a negative in my book as well. I have a habit of laying my pvs on their side. Seems like the Gen1 is less prone to that however ...

Have a feeling I'll be buying a few different styles anyways. lol

Laying rebuildable on their side=leak. :)

Another alternative is mesh on Vivi Nova's that are pocket friendly. I did my first last week and its quite impressive using 500 mesh over the existing silica with 6 wraps of 32g wire.

Not true for all RBAs.

The gg series is the shining example here...they simply will not leak...the Genesis attys are the leaky ones...

Add far as the Vivi nova goes, it is simply an inferior device...I've stayed before how it is a nice intro to rebuildables...but by itself it is simply mediocre at best...I still have yet to get consistent performance from one, no matter the wick material, wire, tank type, etc.

While I find it to be a nice bang for your buck early on, and as stated a nice intro into rebuildables...comparing it to a Genesis or any other high end RBA would be like comparing a pinto to a rolls Royce.

Sorry I was not clear. But yes, I meant Genesis styles will leak. :)

I've yet jumped on any of the GG stuff. They are another hard to get a hold of items. It's not too clear with all the parts as to what goes where and to which. :D
