I got mine from victims coop. I have only had a few other cheap rba s .
THe duds i had I have only made it work once so I'm a little limited in building wicks and coils.

I got this thing goin right outta the package.

IT is really sturdy, the topcap is a little thin, but overall for 25 bucks you cant go wrong.

I am however still getting a pretty bland metally taste from my wick/coil . any advice?

I have already bored out the air hole to 1/16. I wish i would've gone smaller but it puts out clouds.

Let us kniw how you like it vapdivrr.

By cheesy do you mean it looks cheap?

no it looks pretty nice, i just mean build quality compared to the real ac-9. but for 35 dollars its really nice. you know its hard to spend 150 dollars on a genny when you can get these clones for just so cheap, but when & if you do slurg out and do purchase a quality device, the difference is night & day with the build quality.

Gennies are a secondary for me compared to dripping atties. Id throw 100.00 at a nimbus, but I wouldnt spend that much for a genny. Its just preference. Thank god for clones.

Thanks vap! Glad to know its worth the money :)

just made a set-up with the clone and it has some pretty nice flavor to it, all in all i am pretty happy with it. the only thing that i see is the fit of the top cap, its a little sloppy, maybe because of the o-ring or something, and the drip tip connection seems a little loose. there is one thing about it that i actually like better then the ac-9, its the way the positive post screws into the plastic spacer at the 510 connection, with the ac-9 as you adjust the pp the plastic spacer in the bottom spins as you tighten, so you have to hold pressure on this insert, but not so on the clone, it stays put as you tighten or loosen the pp.

The "insulated sleeve" is steel and so doesn't insulate if I'm not mistaken.

Does anyone know where to get peek or delrin sleeves that fit?

This would be ideal for insulating against shorts in unoxidized wick setups and the 4mm hole provides plenty of room for it.

i think there is a nylon sleeve already in it. i havent really looked at it under magnification, but someone said that after they had taken out the metal sleeve that also there is a nylon insulator. he said for that to be removed you would have to drill it out. ultimatly he was going to insatall a ceramic wick, so the nylon wasnt needed for him.

So... I went to my local vape shop to compare the build of my AC9 with the RSST and the main differences are of course the build quality... And also the air hole on the RSST is a bit smaller. The oring for the cap doesn't hold as well as the AC9 and I'm not sure what kind of plastic is holding the juice in the RSST. The wick hole seems the same. I didn't completely take apart the RSST so I don't have any comments on the post and threading of it. Here's a picture of my AC9 though ;)

I don't have that problem with the plastic spacer on the bottom.
