(So do I.) I hate it when they stop crackling, as well. Time to change out battery or carto.

Don't mess with dual coil at 3.7V. It's too cool to bother with. Get a 5V or higher APV if you want dual coil... can't say than it will be any better than a single coil LR at 3.7V, though.

I saw a pbusardo review video where he was pretending to actually like dual coil at 3.7 volts. Can't figure that one out.
