My box was skewed towards nuts (something like half my box) last month along with bakery, so I get what you're saying here. This month I got 3 Strawberry juices - that's half my box. I'm ok with Strawberry, but I've got 7 yums and 9 yuks, so there is a bit to choose from...I dunno, not complaining. Maybe they are spread a little thin at CV right now with new vendors coming in and trying to roll out retail et all. Again, I'm NOT dissatisfied but more curious about the process...
Agreed. My box was very custard/cream centric. Suppose it's my fault for saying I love custards, but I would enjoy more variety. That being said, I didn't have a single unpleasant flavor in this box. Everything I got was simply great.
Lol oh geeze baseball mom. I'm sorry you hated the Fauxtess Cupcakes so much too. I've seen such love for it elsewhere that I was hoping it was just me since I don't really like chocolate vapes.

Yeah the kettle corn doesn't belong in any category really. It's like last month I felt like I had a "dessert" box. And no, it doesn't belong in custards no matter how much butter and sugar, the primary ingredient in custard is milk or cream thickened with eggs.. You could call a pudding a custard or sorts, flan is definitely custard, even my coconut burfi from last month might be stretched out to be a custard since it's some form of cooked milk, but not kettle corn, uh uh. I would say baked goods if anything even though it's cooked in oil. I like the idea of Fair, since that's what I associated my box with. Funnel cakes, kettle corn, caramel apples.
I don't mind if I get 3 custards, or 3 tobaccos, but within that, let there be some twist that makes them different. My issue with the "sameness" of this month's box isn't that they were all "baked goods" just that they were all really sweet, buttery, caramel-y baked goods. I'm not "complaining" either, I'm not going to blindly say OMG I love every juice I get, and I'm going to be honest in saying so. If I gush about a juice, it's cause I really mean it, and there have been so many.
Oh dear no, you meant well...you were kind to send that a a surprise, I'd trade with you any day. And shucks, with how I talked about miss Samoa, you probably thought it would work for me since same vendor.

i went with the drip club they send only sample bottles most seem to be 10 mls or less they list there vendors and you can choose nic levels and they do the flaver profile deal everything i got matched my profile but i didnt care for most gonna see what i get next if no good than i will cancel

I had gotten the hostess cup cake one in my box also. Although it is something I will never buy, and this 16ml will be around for awhile, I think it taste just like a hostess cup cake. Those never really tasted like a great chocolate cake to me anyways. I always thought they had a weird fake chocolate taste to them, and that is what this juice taste like to me. Overly sweet to me.
Yes, one of the ones I got was Beard #32 - It's Funnel Cake with a punch of cinnamon. It's pretty much spot on too. It struck me as I vaped it that I could pretend it was a churro, you know, fried dough with cinnamon, same thing, but no, it definitely vapes FUNNEL CAKE. If you like that sort of thing, you would love this.
Yay I am so glad someone else got that out of the CRFT Strawberry Blonde and not just me. I loved it.Ok. So i have had mine for a while, and still havent posted up. So here goes.
London Bridges - this may be my best of box. It is close between it and SB. This is a true English breakfast tea and custard. Both are true to form. I even get the mouth feel of having had a nice black tea. I figured it would be interesting, but was really surprised at just how much i have enjoyed this one. In fact, the bottle is practically gone!
Strawberry Blonde - i see why this is Roxy's fav. So good! Best Strawberry Custard i have had to date. I am a sucker for custards, but this one is especially good. The strawberry is nice and realistic, but not overwhelming or candyish. The custard has a nice vanilla kick, that almost makes it a sort of strawberry shortcake - i LOVE strawberry shortcake. This and London Bridges are neck and neck for the #1 spot.
A Day In The Life - chamomile tea. Not sure if it is chamomile or not. I dont recall ever having a chamomile tea. However, this is a nice realistic dark tea, with spice and a hint of floral. I have enjoyed this one. Not an ADV for me, but a welcome break from my usual. I will say that after vaping it for a solid hour, my taste buds were worn out. No "vape tongue" but my palate was definitely taxed.
Melo Vibes - Cantaloupe and Honey Dew. Both are true to form. For once, though, i can taste both without one overpowering the other. The cantaloupe does have a bit of an overripe taste. The almost sickly sweet that a cantaloupe 1 day past perfect gets. This does go away as the vape heats up. So after the first couple of pulls on my .4 dripper its basically gone. Its a pretty good vape, and a quality juice. More of an occasional vape for me.
Unicorn Puke - this is like pouring pixie Styx in your mouth. Super sweet candy. Not really my thing. It is supposed to be a cream custard with citrus secondary flavor... Rainbow sherbert kind of thing. I don't really get that until i have nearly vaped the wick dry. So maybe some steeping is in order. I may remove candies from my profile... Lately every candy flavor has been more like dumping a handful of various sugar solids in my mouth and chewing, complete with sugar headache.
Overall a good box, with 2 juices that truly shine. I am glad to hear that they arent done with the testers... I just got in! Lol. Need to do my best of box and tester review today or tomorrow.
Ps: Caramel Apple sounds great! I have yet to find one and try it
That definitely sounds like my kind of thing.
I hate coffee, but CV set me Ragtimes 23 Skidoo anyway, and I am beyond glad that they did. This is a fantastic coffee custard. Might add coffees to my yum list after this.
Yes, I am +1 with this. Sorry if I suggested "heard mentality". I can be very verbose ( and ramble on and on about how I noticed that the sun had a strange shade today...). I try to keep it as short as I can in an internet forum and sometimes the details get lost.
I think we're all on the same page though and we're just rating our boxes and fine tuning what we would like to see the next month. Hopefully I haven't offended...

I got my box today with a lovely note from Jake - seems that for some reason he thought I had left CV (maybe because I haven't been around here lately and haven't been doing my BOTB posts - just too damn tired to) but was happy I wasn't.
I'm really excited to try mine, I've just had a taste of one and I like it - Driptonic Hostess Cupcake. Yes. It does taste like that. The other 3 smell amazing, although right now my brain isn't really working so hot so I don't remember what I got, lol. One is a custard with carmelized sugar and cinnamon, one is a sweet coffee, and the tester is something. Ack! Sure wish I could remember SOMETHING. Anyway, I'll probably report back when the bottles are close at hand and I've tried all three.
