Anyway to keep a "complete" backup at work, keep a spare kit and juice there? Where you stay, where it stays! I wouldn't leave them in the car though, may not be sanitary or safe for vaping.

Yeah, I've got enough spare bits to make a complete kit up if I want to. I have a bunch of spare eGo batts, already have a charger at work, so a carto or two and a bit of juice should to well enough to put behind breakable glass labeled "In case of emergency." 
Plus I can keep my 510, a carto, and another small bottle of juice in my pack in case such an emergency happens while on the go.
So, afternoon break is over, a couple of hours before I leave for home. The Bauway carto has already started to taste odd, but I know it has juice in it -- I gave it the thermometer shake until some liquid started peeking out the battery end, so I know there's still stuff in there, it's just not that tasty. I can deal with that though; the DCC is still going fine on my main PV; the top coil still has a bit of colour so I know it's not dry yet. That should indicate I've still got a good bit of juice in there yet.

Mind, if that happened to me, I think I would go to the drugstore and buy a bottle of glycerine (VG) and drop by a grocery store to pick up a bottle of McCormick Lemon (or other) flavoring. Could thin the juice down w/a little water. Not the best solution I know, but at least it would get your thru the day. Hang in there, Mind.
Believe it or not I've been trying to find a place to get some glycerin for weeks. I don't care if it's VG or PG but no place around me seems to sell it. Now, part of the problem is probably that I'm not sure where to look for it in the first place, but I can say I haven't been able to find any in supermarket baking goods sections or pharmacy beauty/skin care sections. I don't know if it's just the places around me or if glycerol of any type just isn't something that's so easily picked up around here but it's kind of weird.
Flavourings I can get, lots of Club House or McCormick around here -- I was looking that those recently, actually, just out of curiosity. Most have a PG or ethyl alcohol base, but some use essential oils, so there were maybe three or four that didn't which I could use. Artificial flavour, but in a situation like this I'd take it.
At worst I could mix it with what's already in my carto to extend vape time. I know anise, lemon and licorice were three that I recall that I could use. None of them are favourites, but I'd made do.

In the states here, we find the glycerine at Walmart (beside the bandaids) at a cake supply (Wilton's), health food store (Now brand) or hobby store (baking pans section). I'm surprised you haven't found it there. PG is really hard to find - we have to go to a Tractor Supply usually. I've always wondered what ppl were talking about when they mentioned Club House flavorings, so now I know it's an OTC flave. I have a feeling you'll do fine.

Yeah, Club House does seasonings and flavourings and packaged gravies and stuff -- pretty much exactly like McCormick.
I do know I can get PG in larger quantities -- also from a farm supply outfit, in fact, though not that one -- but after hearing how easily people in the US were picking up regular glycerin I thought I should be able to get it just as easily here. I mean, it's glycerin. Not exactly a scheduled drug. But no, at least not at any of the places I've checked. I still have to find a proper bakery around here though. For some reason my particular area hasn't attracted a single one.
Half an hour and then I'm bolting straight home. Not that I feel any special urgency -- DCC is still going fine -- it's just that uncomfortable, constant "I just know I'm like 3 puffs away from burnt filler land" feeling.
Oh, and to give some idea of how much I cut down today, my battery was at 4.2v fresh off the charger this morning. As of right now, it's at 4.1. Part of that was switching between the ProVari and 510, but even so.

Oh yeah, the tear. I'd take a little piece of tissue paper, wet it with my tongue and paste it over the hole. Or if I was impatient I'd just hold it with my finger over the hole 'til it burned down to that point.
I've done worse for a smoke, though.
