Yup. All three worse. I'd go out at 2AM and raid public ash trays around the immediate area. If I got there too late and the cleaners had already come by to empty them I'd grab whatever was left wherever it was left -- including flattened smokes on the ground. I wouldn't smoke 'em straight though, I'd split them open and dump the tobacco into a baggie, then roll my own.

Not my proudest moments, certainly, but such is the life of a tobacco addict sometimes.

Not very sanitary, but quite industrious.

Mind, time to set up a network for moments like these.

I work downtown. Ain't nobody around me that I've seen vape. And since I drip, if I got no juice, I'm SOL.

As for glycerin, you can get USP Glycerin at Shoppers. Thick as molasses. But it works.

Thin out glycerin with water, 10-15% water in glycerine makes it much easier to work with.

Not sanitary, not tasty (I swear with the tobacco from a few of the stepped-on cigs, I could taste shoe rubber), but when you're desperate for your nic fix you'll find out how many of your own taboos you're willing to break to get it. It's probably not quite as bad a state to be in as being hooked on ...... or something like that, but it'll still drive you to do some things you'd normally be repulsed by if you saw someone else doing it.

Indeed. There are at least three or four of us who are regulars who live in the general GTA (I'm in Brampton but work in Mississauga). However I don't drive, so I'm pretty well useless for emergency deliveries unless you live close by. :D

Oh, cool -- good to know, thanks. There's a 24 hour Shopper's just north of me. I'll have to go check them out -- possibly even tomorrow. It'd be nice just to have some on hand. I know generally where to get some USP PG (my company distributes to a lot of retailers/depots that deal with farm goods and one of them does carry PG from what I understand) so I'm going to have to see if I can get some of that, too. At least that'll eliminate a couple of things I need to order when I've got the money together for DIY.

When I first started I was the same way -- except I had one kit and that I was sharing with my wife. I actually had to smoke a couple of analogs once when my one battery died and my wife's was in the bedroom and she was asleep and I didn't want to wake her, so I smoked a couple of analogs while I charged the battery just enough to get me through 'til I went to bed.

I bought another kit shortly after that. :) Now I've got enough gear that I have some backup options. It's just a matter of having them in the right places.

If it involves the words "quit" and "vaping," I'm not goin' out like that. I'm stupidly stubborn, and if pushed to do something I don't want to do I dig my heels in further. That has to be something I decide to do on my own terms or it's just not happening.

Digging in one's heels does not typically work very well with an addiction.
