I can't imagine actually forgetting my gear. Hasn't happened yet (knock on wood). But since I'm one of those 'always prepared' persons, I have two extra batteries, two chargers (one car, one wall which I can attach to my car through an adaptor) and two 15mL juice bottles in the car.

So, no, I wouldn't panic. :)

Honestly? I buy a pack of smokes.

I can count on one hand how many times it's happened since like, the beginning of the year. Gets me through the day, pack goes on the nightstand when I get home, and it stays there for 2-3 weeks at a time sometimes.

Buying a pack of smokes after vaping isn't 'falling off the wagon' for me, at all. Vaping is so much more inexpensive, and tasty. I'd rather be doing that at this point, and I think most other people who partake in this hobby feel the same way. The 'enticement' of a real cigarette is more or less non-existent.

It's only happened twice.

The first time was early into vaping, maybe only a few weeks in. Was in the car and all my eGo batteries pooped out on me. I thought they were both charged, but... Still 45 minutes away from home and I panicked - for all of 15 seconds. Once that was outta the way no problems, no freak out moment like with butts - no crazed panic with the sole thought of "Where's the closest Kwikee Mart dammit!" Just got home, found my other battery and life was good.

The other time was more recent. Had to get out the door and had 45 things distracting me and forgot my gear. I was more PO'd this time than panicked. I know I would survive the day, just wasn't all that happy about it.

Smoke instead? Not even a consideration. I'm one of the lucky many for whom everything about smoking got real disgusting, real fast, once I started vaping. (I'm trying really hard not to turn into one of those former smoker, anti smoking Nazis.)

Vaping - it's a good thing!

Did you panic?

No. Because........

I tell everyone, even advanced vapers, to do this:

Buy some good disposable e-cigs. I have a few in drawers around the house, and always 2 in my purse.

During the power outages last winter, they are a lifesaver. Also a few times I've been out for longer than I thought I would be on errands....well, I have disposables in purse. :)

Nice fit and finish are the Smoke Stik --- they are on the forum here. Nice people too. I have vanilla, tobacco, menthol and cherry. They taste good.

They make nice stocking stuffers and gifts, too.

What? Leave the house without my PV, two extra sets of batteries, three backup PV's, extra cartos, tanks, tools, accessories and 20 ml of juice? What if I run into a possible convert I need to set up? Would I panic? Oh yeah! No it ain't gonna go down like that. Smoking is not an option, those things taste like .....!

$250 worth of gear stolen from the saddle bags a couple years ago while visiting dad at the old folks home. Still had enough stuff on my person to make it through a shift. I guard my equipment with my life now!

I have reached the point where I don't need to vape at all anymore... unless I am drinking.

So I recently went to Vegas and forgot to bring a backup atomizer.
And of course, on the drive out to Vegas my atomizer dies.

Well, you know I'm going to be drinking in Vegas, so I figured this would be a good chance to try out some disposables.
Once we got there I went to the liquor store and picked up a Swisher Sweet and a Krave.

They were both pretty lame, and I almost decided to just go ahead a buy a pack of smokes.
If it had been a longer trip I probably would have, but it was just an overnight trip and I just toughed it out with the disposables.

Too bad Vegas doesn't have any Brick and Morter Vape shops (cough 20 cough). Seriously though I don't mean to insult you, I would have googled it and found a quick replacement. I do that when I go out of town, I check out where the nearest vape shop is to where I'm staying.
