My Halo Triton order... sigh. I'm such a noob, I thought because I wasn't ordering any liquid, it would fly through customs and I'd have it within days. I see now by reading other threads it doesn't matter if it's hardware or liquid.

I've been watching the tracking nervously, and today there was finally a new entry. Not the one I wanted to see though

I have no idea why right now everything is being stopped at the border. In 8 months I never had a shipment stopped and I would estimate I had well over a hundred shipments. Now in the last 2 months everything I order is stopped and held for 5-6 weeks then released . I don't know what has changed as of late. Good luck on your order !

Don't panic. All international shipments go through this process - it's a boilerplate notice. In no way does this notice mean there's any issue.

It can take a couple of days to clear (particularly if it gets into customs on a Friday) or it can take as little as half an hour. I posted on another thread you were on regarding getting international orders into Canada - might be some helpful tips/thoughts in there for ya.

Hmmm... I've never had a stoppage for more than 2 days in 18 months, including 4 packages this past week.

Also, might I suggest canvape.com or dashvapes.com for all your vaping hardware needs - great Canadian vendors (so no customs issues).

If you're in Ont, there might be a Dash Vapes B&M store near you that you could visit in person.

I got lucky! Just checked the status again...

"Item was released by Customs and is now with Canada Post for processing" WHEW!

I order stuff from the US all the time, but this was my first e-cig related order. Wasn't sure what to expect. Will definitely be checking out Canadian vendors from now on.

Jensy, is it possible you got yourself flagged with customs? That sucks everything you order is taking so long

Juice, you can get from multiple vendors online in Canada.

Dash Vapes is a good one for juice, too. Jugheads.co is great (based in Alta) and has hundreds of flavours. There are many others.

Within the Canada subforum, there is a sticky thread at the top where you can request a list of Canadian vendors.

With the $2 option, I've always received my orders 6 business days after shipping. You should be getting yours soon, unless it got delayed due to the Holiday they just had in China.

I've read that the $2 option is a good one and people usually get their items in about 6-8 business days however I am not having the same luck. Today is the 8th business day since it shipped out and unless Canada Post isn't updating this anymore, it's not even in Canada.
