I cannot express the level of which Canada Post sucks.

The status at the end of the day yesterday switched to "Business closed for the day. Item on hold for second delivery attempt."

The flaw in that is that we are a 24/7 operation - there is always someone here at the office. The above translates to - WE JUST SUCK.

So the Postal Fairy came at the VERY end of the day. I was actually surprised at how small the Halo Triton is, compared to the Vision Spinner I've been using. I like the size, it fits in my hand better. I got the starter kit so ordered one of each size battery. The smaller one for just going to the mall or out for dinner.

So far so good! It's a nice little unit, in my limited experience  I think I'll be happy with it. All my juices came today also from madvapers.

I think I'm becoming a fiend

I don't think USPS is much better. I ordered some items from Minnesota Oct 9 and this is the vacation trip it took. Texas, Chicago and New York (same day and time ??), New York and finialy Missasauga Oct 17. Looking at a map, Chicago and NY are a lot closer to Canada then Texas is. ????? Fingers crossed for Oct 22-23 delivery.

My Halo Triton order... sigh. I'm such a noob, I thought because I wasn't ordering any liquid, it would fly through customs and I'd have it within days. I see now by reading other threads it doesn't matter if it's hardware or liquid.

I've been watching the tracking nervously, and today there was finally a new entry. Not the one I wanted to see though :(

Hi CdnDiva, I am kind of in the same boat as you. I was wondering if you could clarify a few things about your order.

I'm planning to buy Halo G6 starter kit but with blank cartomizers instead of nic ones.

1) You mentioned there are other threads reporting package getting stopped or seized at by the customs? Are they the same case as us (package without any nicotine product)? I just quickly browsed through the threads and didn't find anything similar to the case.

2) Did you by any chance have Halo declared the package as "gifts" or anything other than "e-cig" or "smoking cessation device" etc? I've read elsewhere that in 2011 a fellow Canadian requested to have the package described as "gift" and went through the customs with no problem. That doesn't really seem legal to me but it appears to be a method.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Doesn't matter who's shipping it. If Customs is going to nail it, they're going to nail it regardless of who's bringing it across. There's another member here who had a shipment seized coming via FedEx.

That is patently FALSE. My packages sent Express for $40 NEVER get confiscated. It used to be that the $20 option didn't get caught either but I had one sent back a while ago and had to re-ship with Express, and it made it. I'm just curious if that's still the case or if she was successful with the $20 shipping.

I guess it is time to flood customs and health Canada with emails and letters demanding to see the laws that are passed and prohibiting our orders, or better yet flood them to our local mla offices and ask on what grounds is this confiscation being done, we have the rights to answers

I do mean by this that there are no laws in place for their action and we should demand documentation and under who's authority that they are confiscating these shipments, we have rights and the right to know, I myself am wait for a nic juice order and it is in transit now, if I am contacted I will ask (demand) answers

I just ran a previous order of mine through the Canada post tracker.
It went from "Arrived in Canada and sent for further processing" to "released by customs" in 3 hours.
My latest one went from the further processing part to "Presented to Canadian Border Security" and now no updates.
I assume that isn't good.

FWIW, my last order actually arrived at Customs, was processed and released all on the same day. BUT ... it took the tracking service 4 days to update the information, so it looked like it was in limbo for the entire time. Another order tracking took so long to update that it went from sent to processing to Delivered all in one update.

They may release it, with or without the juice. Nicotine is a controlled substance so they get pissy about that. I've ordered hardware from the US but not juice, I think it's a crap shoot.

Meanwhile, 2 days ago I flew to Mexico (here now) out of Toronto Pearson and set off the bells and whistles going through security with my vaping gear, they took me aside and searched my bag. I had to explain what it was.

I have a juice order from Yaeliq in Mississauga with the "Item has been presented to Canada Border Services Agency for customs review." I've never had that before and ordered many times from both overseas and US companies. I'm assuming I'm not going to see this juice (4-100ml bottles) and its going to be sent back to Yaeliq. It took 9 days for it to show up on CP website and now its been 4 days in the CBSA hands and looking grim.
