Admittedly, I got my batteries from fasttech and didn't pay much, so I probably shouldn't expect much.
My first two 650 egos are stripped- my fault mostly(one is still usable, the other one did weird stuff and it died). Cross-threaded one on a bad cart, and since I was new I kept changing flavors and toppers constantly. The third one, a 1300mah fat batt, just stripped on me, so only a few of my CE4s will catch and hold. I can still get it to screw on to the charger with a bit of fiddling, and Evods work just fine.
I've switched to using Evods most of the time to save the 510 threads and because they work even though the 510 threads are stripped, plus I'm really liking the bottom coil lack of twirling. The CE4s I have will likely be my last, but I do like Vivi Novas for capacity, which of course are 510 threads.
I have one of those nifty ego-510 adapters, and I'd like to put it on the 1300 battery, but it's not catching well enough to hold securely. What's the best "glue" to hold it in place- preferably an adhesive that doesn't set up hard in seconds?
Is this a common problem? Should I just get adapters for all batteries to save the original threads? Is there another solution?
