2: I will pick this because it sounds nice and with a possible explanation.
Forest Rangers have some locations so remote that they take up lodging for months at a time to watch for fires, this may be one.

White Sands Natl Park , Alamagordo ,NM
this is a beautiful desert park with sparking white sands. You can sand surf which is a lot of fun. I haven’t been in several years and would love to go and visit this park again. It is awesome to watch the moonrise at White Sands.
