notice they only mention bakero wire in the philippines. it's ur average kanthal a1 if you build a dripper with 28awg with a 2/3 wrap on 3 loops of silica, with a bored out airhole and a mechanical....you'll be an instant pinoy vaper.

Well, that's because "bakero" wire is only available from resellers in the Philippines. Just saying...
Also note, there is a bit of back story to the name he gave it. I'm personally just going to order several different sizes of kanthal ribbon to see if I can find something comparable.

If it doesn't, the metal is soft enough to widen with a blade (e.g. hobby knife).
Bakero wire is more malable and not springy like kanthal and its a much cooler vape. I just got some at a local retailer that just picked it up.

I picked up some bakero its pretty good so far. This may be a dumb question but I have a Era and I cant get the ribbon through the holes on the posts. How do you guys get it through? I was thinking of twisting it up but figured id ask here first.

If you guys follow the creator of nimbus in FB, there was an argument between the owner and the "bakero" inventor. I didn't want to get into the argument they were talking about but the nimbus creator said the bakero wire is actually the kanthal ribbon .0022 gauge.

No matter what they called it, Bakero, Fettuccine, Linguine, Ribbon Kanthal, it is still a 'Flat' heating wire. Flat wire = more surface, more heat, less resistance. In order to achieve the huge vapor craze,
Air-hole on your dripper/atomizer/tanks. Make it bigger.
Get some 'Flat' heating wires, call it what you want.
Wrap it! any way you want it, dripper, genesis, etc
...and most important of all, you need to know how to 'Lung-drag' the crap out of it then Exhale!
May your vape fill with huge plumes of rolling clouds!

According to this guy, it's not really about wire but air flow check it out maybe yall can get the clouds your looking for with the wire you already have and not even have to get this "magic wire" just tryna help out

I purchased this from KP. I use it in my IGO L with XC 116 (1/32) ceramic wick. Serious clouds and flavor is sooo clean. V good stuff!
