Crazy crackling and popping..normal??!!

I'm just getting back into vaping after falling off the wagon.

I went to VaporShark and bought their "VS-ONE" 900 mAh battery and "Aspire" BVC Clearomizer. So everything is pretty straightforward and I managed to get it all set-up and it works.

ISSUE: I've had an Ego-C Twist with tanks before and there has always been some low cracking and occasional popping, but this set-up is doing it non-stop and it's VERY, VERY loud. The hissing and crackling is freaking me out...it sounds like it's going to blow up. LOL

Is this normal? Is this one just more powerful than what I used before? Just want to make sure that I'm not doing anything wrong and I won't set myself on fire.

PS - Also just noticed that after letting it sit (full) on my desk for 2 weeks it has leaked all over the battery contact. Argh!

Yea you should be fine, more power, more vapor being made, long as nothing tastes burned good to go.

Sometimes my tank sounds like bacon frying

Hi Kristine ....welcome back!......not sure what's up with the leaking but Snap, Crackle & Pop are common.

sounds like your juice is on the thick side.
the residual water is reaching boiling temperature
or close to it. i have found after a few days the
coils temper out and the problem disappears
or settles out to the point of being unnoticeable.

In my experience the Aspire BVC clearomizers with even just an ego twist battery pops and crackles more then both my Nautilus and Atlantis with a 50w iStick.

It sounds fairly normal to me. You should hear my sister's iclear 16 snap, crackle, and pop! She must have this tank and nothing else. She's more addicted to the sound than anything.
