Is gurgling and slight popping noises normal?

I've looked around some on this question; and, the other one I asked; but, if it's there, I'm missing it. There's a chance they might be related; but, I figured I'd be more likely to get answers if I asked them separately; and, they'd be more findable in a search for other newbies who might be wondering the same things / having the same problems.

Is it normal to get gurgling and (slight) popping sounds while vaping? (If it's not hurting anything, I'd just as soon it kept doing it; since, it happens when I'm getting the best quality of hits...) It seems to do this on all 4 of my batteries; and, regardless of whether I'm using my CE5s, my vivi nova, or my DCT. (It did it with my v-core 2.0's, too; but, I'd chalked that up to them being cracked like egg-shells...) My normal vape mix is 1/2 clove and 1/2 orange/pineapple; sometimes with a little peach mixed in. (I'm switching to VVV polyprop tanks next week, which MIGHT stop it.)

If it's not normal, will it hurt anything? Do you think it's associated with my wet battery top "problems?"

Is there a "best wattage" or "best ohms" to get this? Any thoughts as to best base percentages? I was getting it pretty often with my ViVi Nova tank; but, after changing my wick (along about the same time I played mad scientist with some new juices), my battery switch light (on all 4 batteries!) starts flashing right before or as I start to get the popping and gurgling that tastes SOOOO good...

Added: I'm assuming that my 650, 1100, and 1350's are all 3.7 volt batteries; so, I'd have to adjust by atty/carto resistance, until I can afford an adjustable. If I'm wrong, feel free to let me know.

Here's a chart that should help you out. It helped me to get a better understanding of volts, watts, and ohms. Vaping Power Chart 2.0 - Imgur

I just got my polypropylene sidewinder tanks (from Valley View Vapes); and, I LOVE THEM. LOL, The only real problem w/them is that I can't stop sucking on them, a in chain-vaping.

A MINOR issue (to me) is that the 6ml tanks actually hold only 4ml (after priming the carto); but, this would've only been an issue for me if I'd ordered the 3ml sized tanks, instead. I almost ordered 3ml tanks, out of concern that the 6ml might be too big on standard sized battery. (I need to confirm with Ray that there wasn't an opps; and, if there was, I'll post a correction; since, the only reason I'm even mentioning it is that SOMEONE ELSE might get upset, despite the fact that these are FANTASTIC tanks! (I'm guessing that the 6ml refers to the capacity without the carto; but, that jut a guess.) Anyway, I hadn't intended this to become any sort of "review;" I'm just thrilled with the way they vape. There's a great sizzle with the 2.0 Boge's; and, thanks to those of you who've replied to this thread, I know that it's nothing to worry about - I'm free to just enjoy the heck out of it. :D LOL, Now, I just need to find a pass through; so, I don't kill my batteries while saving up for something that'll handle 18650 batteries...

A little higher voltage may help the gurgle.

True; but, since I spend a LOT of time around really strong magnetic fields (and have come SO close to going into the mag shack with my cell phone so many times), I have real concerns about investing that much money in something that wind up suffering the same fate as my digital camera did... :(
