Crazy places your e-cig has turned up?

Maybe your stories will help me find mine, which was last seen co-mingling with the pens next to my keyboard. Main suspect: fellow ECF user CONFLATOR, who won't outright deny it and was gracious enough to check... the bathroom cupboards? Made mental note to check everyone's pockets before doing laundry.

Seriously, though. It can't be just me. Next big e-cig innovation should be a built-in pager. Or GPS tracking.

constant state of confusion
I lost my Lil Chuck for months. Just the mod, no carto, atty or tank on it. About once a month I would tear my room apart looking for it, including taking the bed completely apart. It was finally found in a box of toys in the closet. I guess it was tossed in during a quick clean up with the grandkids.
Had also lost one of my Silver Bullets with my moon fairy Phiniac. My mom remembers picking it up and putting somewhere but she couldn't remember where. Found it a few months later......in the china cabinet

Left one of my REOs on the Appalachian trail last fall. Went back and found it the next week, amazingly. I was just lucky to recall where i sat down and took a vape break. I was just surprised the critters didn't get a whiff of Bobas and scamper off with it. Gave it a good bath, threw out the battery. Good as new.

Fell asleep just last night with mine watching the vape team replay found it this morning in my pillowcase clueless as to how it got in there. Have also been seen chasing my ego down the street after getting out of the car with it on my lap i live on a hill. But the worse loss I experienced was my twist rolled under the door to the server room at work and it took me most of the day talking to upper management till they agreed to open the door for me so I could retrieve it.

Hold on ima grabbin popcorn for this one, with all the peeps that fall asleep with em this is gonna get good....:)

Of course I'm a right wing nut job.....I believe in personal responsibility, NOT government responsibility...:)

Mine's an auto, so unless the dog's hitting on it (and I wouldn't put it past him), it's fine. :vapor:

So far, in just three weeks, the refrigerator (I found it immediately), in the bed with me (I'd never smoke in bed, but vaping in bed? Sure!), out in the garage on the shelf, the back patio table, and next to my toothbrush.

I lose things a lot.

The refrigerator - that's hilarious. I can't help but wonder how it got in there? I agree - Vaping in bed is SUCH a pleasure.

My PV appeared about 8 inches away from where I last saw it, under a notepad. No interesting story there. I picked up the notepad to swat a fly (unsuccessfully, as always-- how the hell do they move so fast?) and put it back down on top of my e-cig. I looked over my desk 3 times and it took a good 24 hours to find it. I felt silly.

Too funny! And I am jealous of your Silver Bullet - I want one! Or maybe two, in case I lose one... :)

Look in the car, couch cushions, bed, laundry room....I usually find mine in the couch cushions.

Ha! I had written this response before reading your post:

:) I'll bet everyone has lost theirs in the couch/chair cushions at least once.

I have a futon, so maybe not everyone. :) I do love to vape in bed, though, so no doubt it'll end up in my pillowcase or between the bed and the wall one of these days.

Awesome story! Gotta ask: what is Bobas?

Reading your story made me wonder what happens when a person who has never heard of or seen an e-cig (e.g. another hiker taking that same trail a day later) happens upon one. What goes through their minds? What do they think it is?

Haha! I have an eGo so I can totally picture chasing my runaway e-cig as it rolls on down the hill. I have a hard time keeping it from rolling off my desk all the time.

So why did you REALLY want to get into the server room? :)
