Here's a recipe that I'm still tweaking, but it will give you an idea at least:

Pecan Pie

I made a 5 ml base of 25/75 PG/Vg at 12mg's and added the flavorings at:

3 drops/.12ml/~2% TPA Pecan
6 drops/.24ml/~4% TPA Brown Sugar
1 drops/.04ml/<1% TPA Pie Crust
4 drops/.16ml/~3% TPA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
3 drops/.12ml/~2% TPA Toasted Almond

My drops are approximately 25 per ml, so the ml and % amounts are approximate.

I'm going to try adding more Brown Sugar and Toasted Almond if it hasn't gotten better after steeping. I tried adding TPA Caramel Candy and it was just nasty to me, so if I do try it with caramel again then I'll use a different kind.

I just tested it again, and it is pretty good, though still not quite right, think I need to start over and lose the caramel, it's killing it.

Hmmmm, maybe I should try an Apple Pie, here are my initial thoughts on it:

Apple
Cinnamon Ceylon (Only a drop to start, this stuff can overpower quickly)
Pie Crust (no more than a drop! This stuff is STRONG!)
Lorann Caramel
Brown Sugar
Cotton Candy (Just for sweetness)
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream for Apple Pie Ala Mode

A touch of Toasted Almond might be good for that crusty flavor too...

I'm gonna have to test this one.

It has been brought to our attention that some of your might feel like the prizes chosen for this contest seem to be inadequate compared to other vendors similar contests. I am sorry if you feel this way, please try to keep in mind that we are very new and this company was founded with limited resources. And our contest prizes reflect that. We have an obligation to work within our means in order to be able to continue providing competitive pricing that we are offering.

What we lack in substantial capital we hoped to make up for with low prices and superior customer service and grow the company that way. I know the competition is steep out there and there are still a few excellent vendors out there who care more about their customers than they do making huge profits. We are trying to craft an image that directly reflects this type of business attitude.

I very much appreciate everyone's participation in this contest and I know that we are all working with limited resources. We ask that you do not go out of your way or waste any of your own resources for this contest. The primary reason we started this was to get an idea of what our customers and potential customers want, while rewarding as many people as possible without breaking the bank. You do not need to post exact recipes if you do not know them, your general ideas and rough estimates are fine as well. I hope you all understand and again I apologize if the prizes for this contest do not meet your expectations.

Best Regards,
~Brewtus

First of all, you should NOT have to be apologizing for anything!! If I said what I really thought about the people who had the NERVE to say that about your prizes not being "adequate", I would get banned from this Forum!!!! :-x

I just recently participated in a contest of a similar nature, also from a newer vendor, and the prizes were a 10ml bottle as well for the finalists who were chosen. The vendor not only had to spend the $$ to buy the different flavorings for all of the juices they had to make, but spend their time to mix each one... and then the cost of shipping them all out, too. I started to DIY mainly out of financial necessity, so any juice that someone else makes is a real treat for me!!

I am probably one of the biggest Contest Ho's here on the ECF (LOL), but it's not about the prizes... I do it for the fun and fellowship that come with playing the games, for getting to know some of the new vendors and the products they offer... and if I do happen to win, it's more of a "catch and release" with me, since I PIF most of the stuff anyway (unless it's juice... ha!!).

So just keep doing what you are doing... and

I've seen some cookie flavors, but what I would love to see is something that approximates a peanut butter cookie! (Can anybody tell I like dessert flavors yet?)

If I had to guess at the recipe I would say:

Peanut butter
Graham cracker
maybe a hint of cream to even out the graham cracker
just a touch of chocolate (like one drop lol)?

This one's just a vague idea, but I think it sounds yummy!
