Seems a lot of the creamier flavors that would entail dairy, caramel, peanut butter, vanilla, ESPECIALLY vanilla since it's an oleo resin DIRECTLY from the vanilla bean and not some alcohol laiden extract, these things take time, and I guess the same term applies here, steep or "macerate" for them to settle into their reported flavor.
As Tasty Vapor has requested, a lot of the flavoring components we have made for us are PG based. Some of the Lorann's candy oils us alcohol as their suspension liquid, the liquids we create that use these alcohol based flavorings have an easier time being vaped right from the bottle as the alcohol tends to not only incorporate quicker, but break down any oils in any other flavoring we might be "thicker".
On the plus side, and for those who do have a bottle they can vape while they wait for the good stuff to mature, the end result is usually a rich, thick, decadent vapor and a very pleasurable experience, rather than a quick 5 minutes down by the company ashtray. Ya know?
Maybe, in the long run, and possibly sooner than later, we need to add some sort of notification on each premium flavor we sell, whether they'll do better with some sitting time. I.E. "Ready To Go", "Needs One Week" and "Better After Two Weeks".
While this may affect sales slightly as most people are of the "instant gratification" mindset, it's at least a bigger step toward truth in advertising if were advising our clientele that certain flavors need time to sit in order to "taste right".
(geez, I just LOVE quotation marks eh?)
It's really our job and concern to be as helpful as possible as well as delicious as all hell and keep you lot away from those damned cigs.
So, pretty much, I've confirmed in my own mind that's an extra step I need to take.
