The problem with me when I make something is I am .... about perfection.

I'll take it apart and re-do it til it's perfect.

So I don't get too much done hahaha!!

I'm the same way. I think it's the nature of crafters doing fine work. I know no one else would notice the mistake, but *I* know it's there and it's all I can see when I look at it.

LOL - that's what hubby tells me - but I always see the mistakes - it's like they jump out at me and say - here I am hahaha!!

Bristow, Ok.
Maybe I teach you how to quilt stormy without harming your hands and you teach me how to basket weave.

I love to see the gorgeous patterns in baskets. There are some ladies here that enter theirs in the fair and they are just gorgeous!

My basket wasn't fancy. It is just big. It is a ribbed basket that is so big if it was full of food you couldn't carry it. It is perfect for my chargers though. I put a surge protector and an extra power strip inside. The cord comes out of the half of the lid that is closest to the wall. Everything is in the basket. It is very handy.

Another thing we all have in common...

I used to do a lot of sewing, knitting and crochet, but these days with an eye problem, I just cant see to do it, and I miss it...

Your Quilt is just sooo beautiful Mamu, I have never been talented enough to produce something as nice as that.

My poor kids hated it when they were little, as everything they wore was made by me.. And now when they look at school photos they go... OMG that was that so and so you made... and I look and think, yep it wasnt bad....lol

But it was a necessity, as kids are expensive, so making their clothes meant more money to buy what they wanted for Christmas etc.

Size... 00... Mamu, if I dropped one, I would never find it !!

amazing.

I sewed for my kids to. I guess I was really blessed because my kids loved it. If they ever minded anything home made I never knew it. I even sewed for my husband. X now. The men he worked with asked me to make shirts for them too.
