Thank you all so much. I will be just fine in a couple of day's.
My lab chewed through the thermostat wires to the a.c. unit. I thought how hard could this be to fix?
I tripped the breaker, pulled the fuse's and went to work on the wires. Did you guy's know that the capacitor in an a.c. unit store's 250,000 volts? Well i do , At least i do now after my elbo touched the the terminals. I think i'll stick to 3.2 to 4.8 volts from now on. Blew a nice size hole in my knuckle . My dogs think i'm a wizzard , able to shoot fire from my fingers.
So, first thing in the a.m. after the a.c. guy fix's the wire's it will be back to business. I will be out of work for a couple of day's.
I just want to say thanks again for all the post's, P.M.'s and emails.
It just hit me, Vaper's , We really are family.

Well it is great to hear you are going to be okay! No I didn't know that they had a capacitor that stored 250,000 volts. It must have been a real shock when you found out! lol I knew televisons did but never crossed my mind about an AC unit. I will definately remember that. Really glad you are still with us! A person never knows when our last day on earth might be!

Tony, very glad you are okay. Hang loose & get well.

Same here, I knew about TV capacitors, but not A/C units. Perhaps we should all tuck this one away in our brains.

Glad your OK Tony! I just found out....I did the same thing a few years ago...leaned onto a capacitor. Burnt the heck out of my shoulder and blew a dime size hole out of the first knuckle on my thumb. It was exciting to say the least...My chest hurt like hell for a week. Way worse than my shoulder and hand.
