Anybody else have a crunchy firing button on the Infinite Stingray? If so, any suggestions on how to remedy? Also the bottom portion of the button has a slight rattle, as if the parts aren't fitting snugly together inside the switch. That's my theory anyway. I've taken the switch completely apart, soaked in iso alcohol, and thoroughly cleaned everything with a toothbrush, but that didn't help. I love the mod, it works fine, and never really misfires. But that crunchiness is annoying.

Yes i have a feeling that part with the small metal pin and where it sits is part of the problem. Thanks! I might try to widen it a little bit. Do you remember what size drillbit you used?

Go to Radio Shack or equivalent and buy a can of Control/Contact Cleaner & Lubricant. Take off the button and with the supplied tube nozzle, blow it into a vent hole. Careful as it comes out of the can with a fair amount of pressure. I had to do this today and now it works better than it ever has. Added bonus: when you get done wiping off the excess, the polished SS on the button is pretty damn shiny. :)

noalox is garbage use a product called" no-ox a special" its actually electrically conductive and a anti corrosive. Use it where the switch plunger slides through the switch body and where the pins screw into the switch and the top cap. noalox is just popular because its easy to get avoid it get the NO-OX A SPECIAL there is no substitute also clean your threads on the tubes and apply sparingly being electrically conductive it can cause a short if too much is applied in the wrong areas like actual switch to battery contacts just a film of it will do..

This did help mine, but I going to get a new mag switch asap.

The crunchy button is coming from the rice pin in the firing button. The problem is the rice pin is too short. I made a longer rice pin out of a tooth pick and my button couch is gone. I also had threads exposed on the firing button when in 18650 mode after I installed my homemade rice pin fix I noticed that my threads are no longer exposed and the throw is really short. I'm now happy with the stingray.
