The first mod I ended up sending back and the second one I still have. First off, I clean all parts thoroughly as soon as I get the mod.

Here's what's going on. It'll work like a champ for a few days, then it'll start dying out when the battery is still at about a 3.8. To even get to that point, you have to push harder and harder on the button. Finally, it only works when you put a brand new battery in and push as hard as you can on the button. Even then, not a great pull and it's the only one you'll get out of it.

I've taken the one I have apart and cleaned everything (soaked in alcohol and brushed with a toothbrush until completely clean then dried with a towel). I've made sure al of the contacts are making contact. I can't think of anything else I could do. Everything is clean. Everything is in order. Nothing is broken. This is driving me nuts. More than wanting this thing fixed, I'm dying to know what the answer is.

If you have a theory that involves more information, feel free to ask. It's an Atomo v2 mod.

If you are talking about mech mods you have to look at all of your adjustment areas (button, 510 connection and what not.) It sounds like from the pushing the battery as hard as you can you are not making full connection somewhere. Try taking off the top cap, screwing on your atty, and then screwing in your pin from the bottom. you may have to use pliars but once it stops it should be coming into contact with your atty. then extend your button all the way out, don't worry if it doesn't thread in all the way the first time and then test your fire. if you are still having issues take the thing completly apart and check everything. If you are still having issues i would look at your build, atty, and battery. Mech mods are great because they are so simple and pretty much dummy proof. if all of your connections are clean, and you are making good contact, your problem has to be somewhere else

P.S. you are running the real Atomo correct? clones are a crap shoot, you may have one with bad parts.
