CT vapers, get-together?

Maybe I'm a total dork (which I am) but I would love to have a small "gathering of the vapers" (sorry had to, it tickled me!) in the CT area. I'm thinking before the end of August at the latest... if there's a good response maybe end of July? Just throwing out ideas...

I think this would be great to meet people in the area with similar interests (one being vaping), learning some new tricks/ teaching newbie's, sharing recipes (something I haven't tried yet, but only because I'm a chicken and don't know how!), maybe testing out/ swapping some flavors and having a good time!

I live in the lower Litchfield County/ Upper Fairfield County, Brookfield - New Milford area. I'd be more than happy to host this at my house (good or bad idea?) or another location.

If anyone else would be interested in something like this, please let me know! I'd be more than happy to hear ideas. PM me.

I`m new here myself, but you might have better luck with this in the community/ socia group forum? Good luck, and it sounds like a fun idea, although I`m in MO

I believe, iirc, that there is one planned for June 13th, 2010 in Connecticut. I will see if I can find the details and post them for you.

thanks mamacat! I would still love to try and set up another one anyway. Most people here seem to be rather helpful, I am a rather social person myself and wouldn't mind having a bunch of vape-minded people (does that even make sense???) together to hang.

Okay found it.

There will be a Connecticut vapers meet on Sunday, June 13th from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. The meet will be held at Vaughan’s Public House which is located on 59 Pratt Street in Hartford CT. It will be held in the upstairs portion of the pub. Since it’s a pub you must be 21 to attend. They also serve food so we will be able to eat, drink and vape.

I went to CT in December and met with a few vapers up that way. Was pretty fun.

Just food for thought ~ Meet in public, as things may not always be what they seem.
