Hey guys...Just picked up a Joyetech Cubis.

Let me start off by saying, I really like how it vapes compared to the Kayfun V4 I had been using previously. It works very well when the coil is primed. However, it is not feeding more juice to the coil as I vape. I'm using the 1.5 ohm Clapton coil at around 12-14 watts, running 50/50 juice. Mod is the VTC mini. Vape using MTL mehtod.

I've yet to see a air single bubble float up into the tank on its own to replace juice consumed at the wick. I've tried closing off the airflow and this does not help. I can however, slightly unscrew the top-cap from the tank, and air bubbles will then float in as the coil re-primes. But obviously its an annoyance to have to do this every few minutes. Is this a known issue with this tank? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I'm suddenly starting to lose vapemail boner for this tank.

I have 2 Cubis tanks and I'm also using the 1.5 clapton, but I'm running it at 20 watts. I did however make sure it was very well primed and ran it around 14-15 watts when the coil was new, as these coils seem to need a serious priming ritual when new or they'll easily burn.

Other than seeing no bubbles rising, what vaping symptoms are you experiencing that tell you it's not feeding? Are you sure the coil is still tightened onto the chimney?

I'm assuming its not feeding because of the lack of air bubbles while in use. I did prime the coil well. Actually over-primed...Was a little gurgily initially. I can use it for a little while, but then it starts throwing dry hits. If I gently unscrew the the tank topper, I'll see air bubbles creep into the tank, and it will subsequently work fine for a little bit, only to dry out again.

Since I posted a few hours ago, I switched over to the 1.0 SS316 coil and its working fine. Air bubbles galore after every second or third pull. I do however very much liked how the Clapton coil performed (when working) I was very impressed with its vape characteristics. I'll try reinstalling the Clapton again tomorrow to see if maybe I had just installed it improperly.

I have had the exact same issue (using the exact same mod)and have been using the same solution - unscrewing every few pulls to see the bubbles. I have also had the problem with the 1.0 ohm coil as well.

Oddly, I put the tank on an istick TC 40 and it doesn't happen. I have yet to figure out why or how this could be as there are not really any moving parts on the bottom of that tank. Correct?
