hi, all. I'm looking to get a new mod, actually I will probably get 2 of whichever I decide to buy.
I had the kbox mini, I liked it, and never had any issues with it, so I am thinking about getting that again. However, when looking at websites I discovered that many new mods have come out in the last few months. As a result,I am now looking at the cuboid, and vtc mini by joyetech.
I don't really care about tc, I've never used it, so I don't need it, but I'm not opposed to it. I also don't care about the high power output, as I rarely even pushed the kbox past 25. Basically my only concern is which would be the most durable, long lasting mod. They are all 3 around the same price, all have replaceable. 18650 power sources. I didn't have problems with the kangertech but I also know joye typically enjoys a reputation for high quality.
any input, opinions, suggestions are welcome. I also am not opposites to suggestions for another mod in the same price range.
thanks guys. Man the tech changes fast,I haven't even been out of the loop for very long.

Both the Cuboid and Evic Mini are great mods. The Cuboid is not much larger but a lot heavier. Then again, two batteries will last longer than one. You might also consider the Reuleaux rx200. About the same weight as the Cuboid, a bit shorter but wider three batteries though so the runtime is fantastic. The new istick tc100w is also liked by many. I don't have one yet, but it appears to use the same general board design as the Cuboid/Evic Mini/Reuleaux rx200 so it should be good.

My last buy was for both an evic mini and a cuboid. I'm using the mini every day. The cuboid is in a drawer. Like you I don't require much power, about 30 max watts in temp control mode. I used the puff timers on both devices to see the run time. The Cuboid gave no more endurance than the mini. The serial wiring in the cuboid allows higher watts but apparently has some inefficiencies. I'm getting along fine with the mini. I'll get another 2 cell modd when one comes along with a form factor I like and is wired in paralell. Durability is anybody's guess at this point. One point for durability, don't leave batteries in a mod for days on end when you're not using it go avoid corrosion issues.

I got the miini from fasttech and ordered both a silicone cover and a faux leather cover. I prefer the faux leather, gives a good grip but easier to get in and out of a pocket.

thanks a lot. I'll check out the realeaux. Idk about the I stick, I like the 20 watt I have, but I've heard a lot of complaints about I stick quality

I've just recently got the kanger topbox kit and am liking it so far. I always loved the subtank, and now in topfill and with the ssocc coils its even better.

I also have the vape forward lite and like it a lot, although it's a little more expensive. Check out the vaporflask classic also by vape forward.

I had also considered the top box, bit I didn't much like the original sub tank mini. It leaked quite badly after about a week. Is it a big improvement?
I've not had any leaking as of yet and the top fill is a nice addition. Another combo I like quite a bit is the VTC mini and a cubis tank.
