That is understandable, but they should let people order it while it is on special for buy 2 get 1 free and just let them know it is on backorder. I do not understand the "pull it off the site" philosophy. But that is just me.

its so people cant order it and then be dissapointed that they wont be getting it right away.... which could cause some grumpy customers. also, if he did that (depending on how much he has ordered) he could run out again before the next shipment.
plus they would have to hold the whole order or charge shipping twice. If he charged shipping twice the cupcake (if you ordered 1) would be full price.

We're not going to be stuck in a catch 22 situation here. We won't sell you what we don't have to offer. So we're out of cupcake, you complain. If we sold cupcake and didn't have the flavoring, THEN doled out excuses as to why the orders are backed up, because we had a flavor up that we didn't have available, I think would initiate even 2-3 times the amount of complaints.
