Curiosity Question....

One of the benefits I've found, going from analogs to vaping, is what I'll call the "relaxation factor". Whenever I "have a vape" I seem to relax more- truly take "time out" as opposed to the times when I smoked and would light up a cigarette and kinda go on with whatever I was doing. Even when I consciously tried to "take a break" with a cig and say, a cup of coffee, the refreshment didn't seem to last as long.

Does this make any sense? Am I just a little crazy, or do others feel this same way?

I had a Bro that smoked pipe ever since he was in his 20s (I tried- I felt I looked silly and things like that mattered back then!). Talking to him recently he says he gets the same "effect" with his pipe- becomes more "relaxed" and the feeling lasts longer then when he smoked cigs.

Anyway, just wondering if there is anyone else out there feeling the same way?

Definitely more relaxing for me.

With all the restrictions on smoking in my neck of the woods, it was often a "rush" job - go outside, light up, suck it down.... Heck, even at home. My wife's been a non-smoker for many years, so I didn't smoke inside. Going outside in our freezing rain to smoke was never leisurely!

And welcome to ECF!

YEAH! Same situation at my home. Wife was never a smoker. She actually likes the smell of some of my vape juices and says most times she can hardly smell them at all! LOTSA pluses with vaping!

I like that you can take just one or two puffs then go back to what you were doing.

that's one of the things I enjoy MOST. I often found myself putting a ciggie out half way through, as I was "done" and then they taste even nastier when you light them up (God forbid I tossed one, well I would once we started rolling our own, they were so cheap) But yeah. :)

and relaxing is a hard thing for me..but I guess so, if it's a "special after dinner" relax vape flavor...sure.

I have to admit I have the same experience. I've only been vaping for a couple months (my husband switched first way before I did) and it's incredible! I love not having to go outdoors and stand somewhere to smoke. How many half cigs did I put out because I didn't have time to finish them??? Or set them in the ashtray where they burned up without being smoked??? Also, the preparation and maintenance of juice and hardware is relaxing to me. My first DIY mixing kit arrived over the weekend and I had a blast! I smoked for 30 years, and I wasn't even trying to quit, but I finally found that first flavor that I fell in love with and that as it! No more smokes! It's like a miracle...
