Curious about My Liquid? Any Help?

So i went to The local vape shop and they gave me a 12mg cotton candy liquid it was freshly made and i let it steep just sitting there in my closet now im ready to use it but its gotten really dark and nows smells kind of like a perfume smell im kinda iffy about using afraid it might have gone bad. Any Advice?

I doubt it went bad. What you did is allowed it to age and this typically allows flavors to mature. I would try a little bit. E Liquid usually has a shelf life of around a year. It should be fine. The nicotine may have oxidized though and if it tastes peppery, this is likely what happened.

I typically age (or 'steep' which isn't the right term) my DIY and Nicoticket juices for up to 6 months.

Anything eith nic in it will get darker after steeping. 18mg will get pretty dark. That perfumey smell is just the flavorings giving off aroma. As long as it wasnt left in sunlight and turned like dark chocolate brown, youre good.

Depends. Some flavors smell perfumey but taste great, but others smell great but taste perfumey. I really couldn't tell ya!

I've read often where leaving e juice uncapped for a few hours after a very good shake can help with the perfumy smell.
