I doubt it went bad. What you did is allowed it to age and this typically allows flavors to mature. I would try a little bit. E Liquid usually has a shelf life of around a year. It should be fine. The nicotine may have oxidized though and if it tastes peppery, this is likely what happened.

I'm rambling. Just try it.

I typically age (or 'steep' which isn't the right term) my DIY and Nicoticket juices for up to 6 months.
