No one knows how safe sub ohm vaping is because no one knows how safe vaping in general is. Is it safer than cigarettes? Probably. Is it safe for 10, 20, 30 year usage? Likely not. The long-term effects are simply unknown. All anyone can do is speculate.

As for your vertigo, it could be from too much nic. If you're sub-ohming, you are going to need to drop your nic to at least 6mg (probably 3mg).

I'm 53 and went through a little mechanical sub ohm spell about six months ago, mainly so I could understand the methods and concepts. I got pretty good at it and it was fun.
I eventually decided that I was much more satisfied with high nic at fewer intervals at lower power. To me sub ohming requires far too much of my life. Toking 3mg juice constantly at the rate of 10-15 mls/day for the pretty clouds isn't my bag, nor are the blistering hot atomizers and having to keep an Ohm's law calculator constantly running in my head. Perhaps if I had any affinity for high powered regulated box mods things might have been different.

Since I had a couple years experience in finagling whatever I needed out of much more efficient power and juice consumption, it was easy to decide that sub ohm setups weren't for me.
