Custom Image Question

I just received my chuck yesterday and noticed that my full wrap has a gap of about 2mm in the back where the 2 edges of the image come together. Is it pretty standard to have a gap instead of the edges touching or overlapping a bit?

I ask because it seemed a bit odd to me. It could be my fault, maybe I should have set the width of the image slightly larger.

thats normal on all chucks, I thinks its so the graphic doesn't get damaged while taking off the end caps

I don't mean on the top and bottom where the caps are. I read about that being normal. I mean on the "back" of the chuck where the edges of the wrap come together.

If you stand up the chuck it would be a vertical gap running down along the body all the way from top to bottom.

Yep, all my chucks have that. They got to be glued or adhered on some way, having no gap makes it much more difficult to line up and should it not line up exactly, which can happen, makes it more obvious.

Jeff managed to get mine almost perfect. No space between the seam at all.
