Custom machined parts?

Hey guys I need some simple parts made for a mod, but I don’t have the cash to invest in metal working tools just yet.

Who do you guys use if you need parts milled, etc?

Thanks but there are so many skilled people out of work id rather give the money to a freelancer if possible.

Hey man, try calling the Robert C Byrd institute of technology in Charleston. They have an awesome cnc tech shop full of students willing to make an extra buck. Or, if you are interested you can go in and learn to run the equipment for low cost. We rent their water jet cutter for 60 bucks an hour. You can make outrageously cool stuff there.

Then advertise for one in your area. Need light metal fabrication done. Call 515-867-5309. Toss an ad up on Craigslist. It's free as opposed to your local newspaper, unless you have a local job search rag circulating.
