Here you go :D
I am also sending you the left over piece of wood. I can make another drip tip from it if anything happens to the original.

My lathe will be down for about a week :(
This is going to delay current custom orders and cause future custom orders to take longer than normal.
I am going to try and pull the cone off of my fathers Oneway live center and see it is will work on my live center. I do not hold a lot of hope that this will work but it is worth a try.

On 05-04-12 the live center on my lathe broke. With out this piece the lathe will not function for turning e-cig mods. I was aware that the live center was failing and placed a order with Grizzly on 04-23-12 so there would not be any delay in production of wood mods.
I used Paypal for the payment method with Grizzly. Even though my bank account is linked to my paypal account they failed to release the funds to Grizzly. Today I checked the below email from Grizzly to check for a tracking number only to find that Paypal failed with the transaction. I called Grizzly and payed with my bank card. The new live center will be shipped UPS on Monday.
I am also to blame for this delay as I should have checked the email "Grizzly Order# 4069913" just to make sure everything was alright instead of just assuming that they were confirming my order and ignoring it until this point.

I apologize for the delay and any inconvenience this has caused.

XL3 in Box Elder Burl (black/green)

I got this one last week, and I must say that it is an absolutely amazing piece of work! The pictures make it look good, but you really don't appreciate it until you hold one of these in your greedy little hands. The wood selection, the cut, the stain, and the finish all come together perfect.

Lewis - You are truly blessed with a talent for wood working. A true artist!

Eric - Thank you for the outstanding customer service!

I think I'm going to have to fork out for one of these they're amazing looking mods. What do you think the cost will be to ship to England?

$16.95 is the standard USPS rate for international Priority (except Canada, they pay only 12.95) and I can't ship this any other way due to it's value and past history on sending items overseas. (Plus it needs to be protected)

It needs tracking and delivery confirmation.

But I can tell you, it will be worth every penny :)

Nice one, you make me a happy soldier? Hopefully you received the pay pal payment by now, don't know if it takes longer if you do transactions over the weekend?

Does Lewis put metal tubing into all his drip tips now? And also can I ask if the tank will be Pyrex, guess I should of found all this out before hand...

Hi guys - Want to first say what fantastic work you do! I am amazed at how beautiful these mods are! I have been stalking this thread for a while and am interested in having some custom work done. My one year anniversary is coming up in a little more than 6 weeks and I want to splurge and get something really really special as a present for myself. I am interested in purchasing my own stabilized wood for this project (will make sure it is professionally stabilized). What I am looking for is an XL3 VV tube, a matching DCT and a matching drip tip. My first question is this - what dimension does the wood need to be for this project? Like I said, I want to find something really special but I want to make sure I get enough!! Then I can just send you the wood and hopefully a down payment and we can go from there?? Could I also get a rough estimate of what I might expect to pay for the finished product? Thank you so much!!

Lisa :)

Thank you!
Here is the link where you order. LG Custom Order Wood Mod
A xl3 tube, tank and tip is $114.39. What that pays for is the labor and the e-cig parts. We do not include the wood in that price as the cost varies so much. Seeing how you are purchasing the wood that should be your final total.
The wood dimensions to make a XL3 tube, tank and tip is 1.5 inches x 6+ inches. I would recommend buying it in one whole piece compared to two smaller pieces as everything will match better.

Cool av it reminds me of VP a long time ago when the internet was slow :)
