They might, I'd try it. I used these Tim Holtz® Adirondack® Alcohol Inks | Ranger Ink and Innovative Craft Products and that blending solution. Good stuff, it blends and cleans up...might work with your markers too, idk. Those doors were clear coated, the inks do wear off if you don't. I might need to put those markers on my Christmas list. :)

Copics are just a more expensive version of the Tim Holtz. I make greeting cards and use both of these types of markers often......Didn't realize I had hidden gems for my REO doors.........lol I also have an air brush system to use with the Copics............Now my wheels are spinning!!! ;-)

Thanks for the info.!

I've done a few custom doors but my favorite one is the snakewood on my ebony reo, I really love this door and the way it feels, part of the reason this is my favorite mod out of them all :)

I so want to remake the body part in snakewood too but at that point there won't be much of anything left of the original woodvil

That has got to be the most awesomestest Reo door I've ever seen.... Not for everyone, but so badass.

sigh... Dibby ain't doin' doors no mo. I'm always a day late and a dollar short. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride... i'm sure I'm a couple of more clichés that I can't remember off the top of my head so I'd better stop now that I have two in the bush.

Ken

I like to think that this one was inspired by The Necromonicon Book of the Dead from the film Army of Darkness.

dude that door right there is just pure art, it's beautiful on so many levels... the burnt distressed look ties into the black mod so well, it's just an amazing look when it all come together, outstanding, one of the most beautiful reos ever...

It is art! The bee gots' mad talent. Looks aside, this door has a wonderful tactile feel. All of those features are in 3D. It feels and looks like tanned hide. It's made of richlite and is very solid. The teardrop squonk hole is a joy to use. I feel very fortunate to have this vape art from a very talented *dare I say genius* modder.

There has to be more out there.
Peter is the only one I have heard about doing doors for others in the past.
Anyone else?
I have had a gazillion ideas going through my head from airbrushing to snakeskin.
I really like the circuit board look.
Something with a steam punk theme would be cool. Maybe I'll go look for old watches at the thrift store that I can take apart for the gears and stuff.

.....am I rambling? Must be the heat cooking my brain.
