Today I woke up to a nice surprise! The package from MBV that has been sitting at customs since October 31st arrived at my house with all juice and equipment intact. It featured a customs declaration that the package contained nothing that was prohibited by legislation or the customs office and met all requirements for importation! So looks like the worst they can do is hold it for a few weeks and release it. Which sucks, but the juice tastes amazing and I bet it's because it's basically been steeping the whole time.

:D

wow...did you need to do anything or did it just happen? Did you get any kind of notifications while it was being processed?

I got nothing at all. Just the shipping tracker saying it had been turned over to customs for inspection. Then nothing for 21 days then it said it had cleared and was turned over to Canada post for final delivery.

I did email the CSBA about it, they said it wasn't their problem and Canada post is supposed to tell me what is going on with the package. And canada posts website says don't ask them about items being inspected by customs. lol.

I'm a long haul truck driver so I cross the border very often. I never had any problems coming back to Canada with e-juices bought in USA. I even showed once to a CBSA officer one piece of hardware and she was just asking me questions about it and how it works and such. She was very polite and didn't say anything to me about nicotine and such.
But I called CBSA few minutes ago and asked straight what is allowed and what not. And they said that as long the juices don't contain nicotine everything is fine.
Actually the answer was "as long the custom border officer is satisfied with what he see" everything is ok. So at the end of the day is all about the officer view on this matter I guess.
